In the past year the New Hampshire Beta Chapter of Sigma Alpha Epsilon has made great strides in a number of areas, one of which is community service. As a Chapter we became highly involved in Relay for Life and the Aspiring Hands after school program. Based off this past years work we have expanded our participation and look to make both Relay for Life and Aspiring Hands an integrated part of our community service for years to come. Following in the steps of our increased community service relations we have also established a strong connection with our Children's Miracle Network contact at Children's Hospital Boston and look forward to expanding the relationship between our two organizations. Excellence in our Chapter is not found only within our service, our chapter has worked diligently to reduce the risks associated with social functions. By revamping our risk management and sober duty practices we were able to keep our Brothers and guests healthy and safe. Academic performance at Sigma Alpha Epsilon remains above the All Greek Mens average, though as a Chapter we are striving to push our average GPA score ever higher.
It has been a busy past year at Sigma Alpha Epsilon New Hampshire Beta. Many new connections have been made which are laying the groundwork for ever increasing levels of philanthropy, community service, and scholastic excellence. With over 600 hours of scheduled community service planned and numerous philanthropic opportunities before us we are well on our way to achieving our service goals!
We are always excited to meet potential new members and are extremely thrilled by the steady flow of returning alumni. So whether you have never stepped foot in our house or you lived here during your years at the University of New Hampshire, we encourage you to come by 28 Madbury and see what the True Gentlemen of New Hampshire Beta are all about.
